#LAGOSMARATHON : Lagosians covered out a peaceful protest during the Lagos city marathon

Lagosians could no longer hold their feelings towards the ban of okada (motorcycle) and napeps (tricycle).

A group of Protestants were spotted during the Lagos marathon. The Lagos marathon took off at exact time as planned by the organizers , Access bank of the event saw David Barmasai Tumo as the winner of 42km.

The race was described as an electric run, relentless, and the true definition of Godspeed.

On their twitter account, Lagos city marathon #LAGOSMARATHON, numerous hash tags were included for users to participate in the discussion before and after the race.

During the race, some groups carried out protest which was a peaceful type as no intention was planned to harm anybody.

The Protestants were trying to convey messages to the state government over the ban of okada and napeps.
